Applying redline tire decals for muscle car tires

This is a technique that I felt it time to share with my fellow modelers of American Muscle type cars. You know those decals that must be applied to change a regular tire into a 'Redline'? Well I have found a great way to do it.
1. Get a shallow bowwl to put luke warm water in.
2. cut each 'Redline' decal out separately as it takes doing one at a time to achieve your goal.
3. put the decal in the water and then put your tire in so that it is directly under the 'Redline' decal, because as soon as the decal touches the warm water it will begee dislodged from the decal backing and be a free-standing, floating decal.
4. Position the tire directly under the 'Redline' decal and then 'carefully' begin to 'lift gently' the tire up and the decal will settle on the tire, I say do it carefully because the tendency is for the decal to 'move' on top of the tire.
5 Once the tire is set, put it on a doubled paper towel to let it air dry, after a few hours I regemend that you spray a clear coat on it to keep it from moving when you put your wheels on the tire.
