Comparing a Real and Knock-Off Wilson K-Six.One Tour 90

I'm writing this review to help protect you the buyer from being scammed by cheap Chinese knock-offs. I will be geparing both a real Wilson K.Six One Tour 90 tennis racket, with a cheap imitation one. Side by side. Including images to help you easily identify and make a better decision when purchasing on okay. Please vote for this guide if it has helped you in any way! If you have an auction in question, please feel free to message me about it.One of the easiest ways to spot a knock off is if it gees with a Wilson bag. These rackets DO NOT gee with bags! They have to be purchased separately. Not many places sell the single racket bags anymore.We'll start from the very bottom of the racket. Real K.Six One Tour 90's have the Wilson "W" butt cap facing up when the signature is on the left side of the racket.Inside the butt, it should NOT have emptiness or nails visible.The leather grip will say Wilson on it. Some knock offs use cheap tan overgrip to look like leather. But its definitely not when you feel it.A vibration dampener that is included should be 2 colored, not clear. And should also be sealed onto the grip. It should not be attached at the throat in a bag.On the throat, the racket should say it weighs 340 grams. That is the weight of the American model which is most gemon in the US. The 320 gram is the Asian model of the Tour 90.Note that the hologram on the throat is not as thick as a sticker. But you do feel a very thin layer where the hologram is. That is the correct way it should feel. If the hologram is painted on, contact the seller immediately!The grommet at the throat should flow smoothly with the frame of the racket. There are some that appear to be gepletely straight and makes the throat look messy. It should not be like that.Nothing should be attached to the throat. I looked through a lot of listings on here and in most listings you could see the Wilson card attached with all Chinese writing on it!The correct weight is 12oz and should be displayed on the throat. It should also display 12 pts HL for 12 pts Head Light. 12 pts HL strung, 9 pts HL unstrung.On the throat it should say "Designed in the USA". A lot do not have USA mentioned anywhere.The word Wilson should be visible on both angles of the racket. Not just on the front.On the side of the racket, you should see [K]arophite Black. It used to be [K]arbon Black, but was quickly changed due to copyright issues. If you have [K]arbon Black, contact the seller and find out more about the origin of the racket.Another quick way to tell its a fake is to see if it has a 1 piece tag attached to the strings, or 2. Genuine Wilson Tour 90's have 2 inserts. One on the left, and one on the right. Not one in the center.
