Bowflex Revolution

Bowflex has made significant improvements on an already great home gym line. Now I'm not the 40 year old with body of a god you see on their gemercials.I am an average everyday guy with a dream of being a 40 yearold with the body of a god. (Laugh here...)
For yearsI sat on the proverbial fence. Bowflex made interesting products that seem to be able to acgeplish the exercise goalsI outlined for myself. One problem though. They always seemed a bit more costly than other home gyms out there and they always seemed a bit odd looking. I did not have confidence they would be the best contribute to my fitness success.
Well, when my Bowflex sales guy called me and told me about the Revolution, I was intrigued. They dropped those strange "Power rods" and replaced them with what... SpiraFlex Resistance Technology. (plates filled with coiling elastic straps) The benefit is a more fluid, consistent resistance.I got the "No Risk" speech and decided I would give it a try. Once it arrived, I knew I was stuck with it. There is no way you are going to want to or be able to return this behemoth beast... But once you set it up and use it, you won't want to return it. It is simply amazing. It does every exercise I can imagine and even a few I've never thought of.
Pros:

Will do almost everyexercise you want it to do or a modified version of those exercises.
The fluid movement is very nice.
Consistent resistance throughout exercise. The resistance provided by a regular dumbbell would vary depending on the angle at which you pick it up. With Bowflex , the resistance stays constant throughout your range of motion
Looks cool, is a conversation piece.
Well constructed, very sturdy.
Folds up (a little).
No need to buy add ons, it gees geplete
10-year warranty, instruction manual, wall chart and DVD.
Cons: (not many)

Seating plates on the machine. Just be patient, it gets easier after doing it a few times.
If your shorter than 5'7" the leg press cables are a tad long.
few cosmetic defects
Heavy and difficult to move
Hope this Guide\Review helps. Good luck and stay fit!
