Rarity of Wisconsin Extra Leaf State Quarters

Living here in South Texas, bewtween San Antonio, Tx and Austin, Tx; Iwas blessed to find several BU Wisconsin Extra Leaf State Quarters in my area back in the Spring of 2005. This was a lifetime experience which both my wife and I enjoyed together !! Once the mass media had gotten a hold of this coin rarity an intense search for the High and Low Leaf Quarters began by just about everyone in our area. Many coins were found. Many were wholesaled to the San Antonio, Tx coin dealers and then wholesaled to several coin marketers. Now, over a year later, few coins are showing up for sale here in Texas. Fewer coins are being offered on okay. I think that the prices for the coins are forming a base in which they will increase in price over time... more of a gradual increase which is healthy !! There are too many serious Statehood Quarter collectors around the world to spread the 20,000 estd High and Low Leaf quarters among. This is my take. Thanks, Mark Smith.
