Protect Yourself from fraud on pay pal

If you want to make sure you have sellers protection on pay pal.1) Always sell to a confirmed address of
a bidder. A Confirmed Address is either the address at which the buyer
receives their credit card statements, or an address of the buyer which
PayPal has confirmed outside the credit card system. For example if you sell GI Joe MIdge, X-Men doll or other action figure you may want to use delivery confirmation on al your packages shipped within the US.2) You will not get your money back if the buyer splits the transaction payment
into more than one. You will get the higher of the payements only. The
seller accepted a single payment from one PayPal account for the
purchase. Please note: There is a greater risk of fraud when multiple
payments from different PayPal accounts are used to pay for a single
item.3) Always call the
buyer, I have had confirmed payments on Pay Pal reversed. If you call
a uncofirmred buyer and you can't reach them by phone. do not send.
The payment may or may not be reversed. 4) Always put in your auctions payment to confirmed buyers only unless you contact me first. This allowsyou
to judge if you feel there is a valid reason why the person has an
unconfirmed payment. Frauds usually do not list a valid phone number,
nor will they allow you to contact them.5) It is a red signal for potential problems is the item is a high value and the person does not buy insurance.6) The seller ships the item(s) to the buyer within 7 days of receiving payment.7) The seller provides reasonable proof of delivery (Signature Confirmation with Delivery Confirmation)from
an independent shipper. The delivery must be trackable online. Proof of
delivery should show that the address shipped to corresponds to the
address on the Transaction Details page. If a reversal occurs, you will
need to provide PayPal with the name of your chosen shipping provider
and the online tracking number. APPROVED shippers of pay pal are US
postal service, UPS and Fed Ex.8) For transactions equal to $250.00 USD
or more in value, the seller needs to provide a proof of receipt
signed, or otherwise acknowledged, by the buyer. A proof of delivery
from the shipper which does not contain the buyers signature or other
acknowledgement will not be sufficient. The equivalent transaction
amount in non-USD currencies at which the seller must provide online
proof of receipt acknowledged by the buyer is as follows: 325 CAD,
200. Eur and 150 GBP9) Seller Response Requirements: The
seller cooperates in resolving disputes by responding in a timely
manner. If PayPal contacts the seller with regard to a Buyer Claim or
chargeback, the seller needs to provide the requested information to
PayPal within ten days.10) You can use your personal setting in Pay Pal to allow you to view unconfirmed winner payments withoption to accept or deny the payment. If you have found the information helpful in my Guide, please rate it with a yes vote. Help keep it up high in the rankings so that others can find answers with all of this information. Thanks.
